Modine Chandler Stephens was born March 1, 1924 and entered the gates of heaven on December 25, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents William M (Bill) Chandler and Gertrude Temples Chandler. Her husband Eudell Stephens. Her brother Homer Lester Chandler and her sisters Mary Magdalene Chandler, Juanita Chandler Parks and her husband John, Jeffie Chandler Garrett and her husband Donald and Mavis Chandler Rode and her husband Dan. She is survived by her daughters Joan Stephens Pelham and her husband Mike, Malecia Stephens Hall and Marsha Stephens Funk and her husband Tom. Grandchildren Shannon Pelham Blaine and her husband Mike, Chris Wakefield and his wife Tracy. Nikki Hall Brewer and her husband Glenn, James Hall and his wife Addie, Stephen Edwards and Micah Pelham. Step Grandson Chris Funk and his wife Penny, Great grandchildren Jon Michael Blaine, Tanner Wakefield, Blakely Blaine, Brelin Wakefield, Matthew McClurg, Sydney Hall, Noah McClurg and Matilda Hall. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 1 p.m. until Funeral service at 2 p.m. in the Chapel Manry Jordan Hodges with interment in the Blakely Cemetery. Manry Jordan Hodges are in charge of the arrangements.
