Willie Zell McCormick , 92, passed away at the Calhoun Nursing Home on February 7, 2020.Her graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020, at Bethel Cemetery (South) at 3 pm.The family will visit with friends immediately after the service.

Willie Zell was born on July 27, 1927 in Early County to the late William Joseph McCormick and Willie Wessie Knight.She was a member of Southside Baptist Church, Blakely, GA and was a homemaker. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters; Mary Lou George of Blakely, GA, Wessie Mae Bush and Mattie Dunn both of Colquitt, GA and one brother, Bud McCormick, Jakin, GA.

Her survivors include one niece; Linda Dunn Horne of Jakin, GA, seven nephews; Sam Dunn of Bainbridge, GA, Dwight Dunn of Georgetown, GA, Buddy Bush of Climax, GA, Bruce McCormick of Jakin, GA, Earnest "Tubb" McCormick , Robert McCormick both of FL, Butch George and one cousin; Sterling McCormick.
