Willie Edward Driver, 82, passed away Friday morning, November 12, 2021, at his residence.A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Smith officiating.Visitation with family and friendswill be from 10 a.m to 11 a.m. prior to the memorial service

Willie was well known by the community andlovedhunting,and local high school sports, and being with his family. He was a hard worker and a selfless person who would give you the shirt off his back.Other than his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers; Nathan and Buck Driver and two sisters; Ruby Davis and Linda Autry.

His survivors include his wife of 58 years, Brenda Jenkins Driver, one son, Bo (Stacy) Driver, one daughter, Tammy Robarts, eight grandchildren: Jordan (Eric) Odom, Dillon (Bailey) Driver, Summer (Will) Warren, Jason Roberts, Ricky (Alyssa) McDonald, Mallory (Chad) Brackins, Bailey Driver, John Micha Henderson, and 17 Great-Grandchildren.He is also survived by one sister, Scarlet (Nelson) Malpas of Mt. Olive, NC.
