Mr. William Gene Love, 63, of 8467 Hwy 27, Blakely, Ga. 39823 passed away at his residence Sunday morning, July 23, 2017.His funeral will be on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home with Pastor Lillie Powell, and Pastor Scott Bryant officiatingand burial following at the Blakely Cemetery withPastor Johnnie Mae Kegler officiating.Active pallbearers will be Christopher Love, Austin Bullard, Ethan Long, James McDaniel, Randall English and Jimmy Jackson.Honorary pallbearers will be Dylan Love and Brian Coleman, Jr. There will be a visitation for the public on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 8 to 9 p.m. atManry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home and there will be a private immediate family visitation on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 7 to 8 p.m. at Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home.
Mr. Love was born in Blakely, GAon January 27, 1954 to the late Charlie Alvin Love and his mother Lanell Cherry Love of Ashford, AL.He was a truck driver for Early Trucking Company, Arlington, GA.He was a member of the Upper Room Deliverance Ministries of Blakely, GA.Other than his father he was preceded in death by his daughter, Natalie A. Love, son-in-law, Brian P. Coleman, Sr.; three sisters, Evelyn, Juanita, and Irene Love; a brother, Charles R. Love.
Other than his mother he is survived by his wife, Gloria A. Cherry Love of Blakely, GA; daughters Tammy Love Coleman of Lula, GA, Rene Love Aiossa and husband Anthony of Pensacola, FL, a son, Chris Love and wife Celeste of Blakely, GA; three sisters, Janet Howard and husband Jerry, Betty White and Willie Roe, Jr. all of Blakely, GA, and Margie Talley and husband Donnie of Donalsonville, GA; and a brother, Donald Glass and wife Shirley of Jakin, GA; ten grandchildren, Christopher Love, Commerce, GA, Breanna Love McDaniel and James of Newton, GA, Seth Nicholas Kabel of Commerce, GA, Austin Bullard, Ethan Long, Dylan Love, Kirsten Love, and Kayla Allen of all Blakely, Sarah Coleman and Brian Coleman, Jr. both of Lula, GA, and one great-grandson, Colton McDaniel of Newton, GA.Many aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins also survive.
