William Edward (Eddie) Lee, 68, of 227 Pine Street North, Bluffton, GA died Monday morning, March 19, 2018, in the Emergency Room of LifeBrite Community Hospital of Early, Blakely, GA.A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 4 p.m. in the Ft. Gaines United Methodist Church with Pastor Martin Lowley , Captain Jimmy Webb , Rev. Beverly King and Rev. Don King officiating.The family will receive friends from 3 PM to 4 PMin the church sanctuary.

Eddie was born on March 24, 1949 in Americus, GA to the late Robert Edward Lee and Carrie Pearl Black Lee.Other than his parents he was preceded in death by a son, 1st LT. Weston Cecil Lee.

Eddie retired from the State of Georgia as the Office Manager/PO3 of the Blakely Probation Office. He was the current Early County Director of Misdemeanor Probation.He was member of the Ft. Gaines United Methodist Church where he was president of the United Methodist Men.He was a member of the POAB, GPA, and a firearm instructor. He received a B.S. degree in Business from Valdosta State College.

His survivors include his wife, Aldene Weston Lee of Bluffton, GA, two sons, William Jason Lee and his wife, Kayla, of Ashburn, GA, and Chester Robert Lee of Bluffton, GA, a daughter, Savannah Farr of Cumming, GA, a brother, Robert Dewey Lee and wife Nan of Carlton, GA, two grandchildren, Alyssa Fletcher and Addison Pearl Lee, both of Ashburn, GA, nephews and niece, Matt Lee and his wife Amanda and their children Allie and Mason, Stephanie Troche and husband, Anthony, and Eric Lee.

In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made to the Lee Memorial Fund, Ft. Gaines United Methodist Church in honor of Eddie Lee and address to Attention of Buck Taylor, Ft. Gaines United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 845, Ft. Gaines, GA39851
