Mr. Cobb was born in Edison, GA on December 14, 1945 to the late Henry Cobb and Mattie Reese Cobb.He was a member of Salem Baptist Church, Edison, GA and worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator in construction.Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Kenneth Cobb.
His survivors include his wife, Ora Kimbrel Cobb of Edison, GA, two daughters; Pam Anderson (David) of Cadwell, GA; Jan Braswell (Neal) of Shellman, GA and one son, Lamar "Buck" Cobb (Kristy) of Tallahassee, FL.He is also survived by two sisters; Kay Rogers, Faye Rogers (Rodney) both of Abbeville, AL, and three brothers; Raymond Cobb (Gloria) of Edgewater, FL, Jimmy Cobb of Morgan, GA and Danny Cobb (Louise) of Morgan, GA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; Hannah & Ethan Anderson, Jake Braswell, Gracie & Drew Cobb, Kimberly Birdsong and Stephanie Kimbrel and 3 great-children; Jason, Connor and Emilly Birdsong.
