Warren White, 81, of Blakely passed away on Wednesday evening, December 9, 2020, at Flowers Hospital following an extended illness.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2020, in White Plains Cemetery.The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m. A viewing will be available from 2-5 p.m. on Friday, December 11, 2020. at the funeral home.
Warren was born in Blakely to the late Simeon Alfonso White and Marie Lindsey White on July 21, 1939.He did not make his appearance alone but was joined by a twin brother, Harry Bryan White.After graduating from Blakely Union High School, Warren served our country in the United States Army for four years.He spent the rest of his life riding horses, chasing cows and driving trucks.Not one for retirement, he worked up until a few months before his passing.He truly "Lived Until He Died".
Warren leaves behind three sons, Warren, Jr. (Mylinda) and their children, Jennifer Howard (Anthony), Jodi Temples, Jamey Whiddon (Nick) & Matthew Chancey (Heather), Billy White (Kay) and their children, Chelsea, Morgan & Dallas, and Jack White (Tabitha) and their children, Asher & Landon; eleven great-grandchildren, Lily & Charles Tedder, Tamp Howard, Evan & Payton White, Braxton & Brody Stagg, Emmalin & Grey Temples, and Zoe & JD "Gus" Whiddon; the mother of his children, Sue L. White; two siblings, Hoyle White (Myra) and Virginia Ann "Ginger" White; a sister-in-law, Judie White; a special friend, Saundra Henley and a multitude of nieces, nephews and their children who were all very special to him.
in addition to his parents and twin brother, Warren was preceded in death by an infant brother, Hiram White, and a grandson, Geoffrey White.
