Vivian Louise Porter

Vivian Louise Porter, 86, of Edison, GA passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025 at her residence. Louise was born on April 8, 1939, in Dickey, GA. She was the daughter of the late William M. Mote and the late Linda Jane Phipps Mote. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Louise was a loyal friend. Her faith was always the foundation of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters, and her husband, Charles B. Porter. Survivors include three daughters, Alesia (Dan) Simmons, Allison Kozuch, and Linda Porter; three granddaughters, Vivian (Dee) Mertins, Rachel (James) Hosmer, and Kathleen (Kyle) Odom; two great-grandsons, Jackson Mertins, and Neal Charles “Charlie” Odom; and one brother, Jerry Mote. In following Louise’s wishes, no service is planned at this time. Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
