U.G. "Gene" Causey

April 9, 1947 — December 15, 2021

U.G. (Gene) Causey, 74, passed away Thursday afternoon, December 16th, 2021, at his residence. A Funeralservice will be held on Friday, December 17th, 2021. At 2 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church, with Rev. Jerry Murkerson officiating. Visitation with family and friends will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
Gene was well known by the community, and loved to hunt and work in his garden. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, five brothers, and a son: Todd Odom.
His survivors include his wife of 37 years, Grace Pittman Causey, three daughters, Annette Soles (David), Celia Thompson, and Pam Odom, one sister, Rochelle Jackson (Otto), nine grandchildren: Gene Soles, Randa Coats, Bailey Driver, Abby Brown, Ronnie Soles, Lessie Price, Sam Odom, Brandon Espinoza, and Saylor Odom - and nine great grandchildren.
