Tony Lamar Gordon

Tony Lamar Gordon, 67 of Blakely, Georgia passed away peacefully at Southeast Medical Hospital in Dothan, Alabama surrounded by his family on Monday, May 8, 2023. Visitation will be held at Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home in Blakely, Georgia at 1:00 pm. Wednesday, May 10, 2023. His memorial service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home with Rev. Tucker Lewis officiating. Tony was born August 12, 1955, to the late Samuel Otha Gordon of Blakely, Georgia and the late Faye Nell Nolan of Lanett, Alabama. He is survived by his children, Shae Gordon Odom (Lavon) of Cordele, Georgia, Nicholas Tony Gordon of Blakely, Georgia, and Christopher Michael Gordon (Leanna) of Bainbridge, Georgia. Tony was a grandfather of six grandchildren: Trip McDonald (Holley) of Blakely, Georgia, Ashley McDonald (Taylor) of Warner Robins, Georgia, Swayze, Charlotte, and Samuel Gordon, and AJ Montgomery all of Bainbridge, Georgia. He is also survived by his brother Randy Gordon (Ginny) of Blakely, Georgia, his sister Angie Gordon Tyson (Bill) of Nashville, Georgia, his nephew Lucas Tyson (Whitney) of Nashville, Georgia, and his two great-nephews Hudson and Hayes Tyson of Nashville, Georgia. Other than his parents, Tony was preceded in death by the mother of his sons, Belinda Wiley Gordon and his grandmother Rosa Gordon Kimbrel lovingly known to all as “Granny.”
