Thomas Edward Wright

Mr. Wright retired from Great Southern Paper Company February, 1994 after 30 years of service as an Area Operator of the wood yard and was a member of Hilton United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Helen Walton Wright; his daughter, Esther G. Black and husband Charlie of Albany, Georgia; his son, Thomas Edward Wright, Jr., and wife Cynthia of Blakely, Georgia.Grandchildren are Michelle P. Mock, Blakely, Georgia, Michelle B. Roney and husband Slade of Edison, Georgia, Thomas Edward Wright, III, and wife Maranda of Albany, Georgia, and Ansley W. Alexander of Dothan, Alabama.Great Grandchildren are Cami, Colby and wife Danielle, Morgan, Malori and Chance Mock all of Blakely, Georgia,Macie and Adam Rackley of Camilla,Georgia, Zack Roney of Edison, Georgia, Thomas Edward Wright, IV, Hallie Kay Wright of Albany, Georgia and Miles Alexander of Dothan, AL.Great-Great Grandchildren are Ethan, Sailor and Kane Mock of Blakely, Georgia.He is also survived by a sister; Evelyn Jones, and niece, Debbie Jones, and nephew, Mike Jones of Edison, Georgia.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. at Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home in Blakely, Georgia followed by Graveside services at Blakely Cemetery at 6:30 p.m.Active pallbearers will be Robin Mock, Slade Roney, Colby Mock, Zack Roney, Mike Jones and Tom Wright.Honorary will be Felix Davis, Mark Winslett, John Hickox, Ted Knighton, Charles English, Tony Knighton, Smiley Bush and Cliff Starr.
