Thomas Huey Spelts Jr.

Thomas Huey Spelts, a resident of Bluffton, GA died Tuesday afternoon at the Southeast Medical Center. He was 80 years old. Funeral Services will be held at the Bluffton Baptist Church on November 1, 2022. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with services beginning immediately afterward. Burial will follow in the Bluffton Cemetery. Pastor Mike Williams will be officiating the services. Manry-Jordon-Hodges Funeral Home of Blakely, GA is in charge of funeral arrangements. Mr. Spelts was a native of Colorado and was reared in Keenesburg, Colorado by Tom and Elizabeth Spelts. Mr. Spelts has been a proud resident of Bluffton, GA for the past 27 years. He was a member of the Bluffton Baptist Church and a diehard Atlanta Braves fan. He was preceded in death by wife, Martha Sue Spelts, and daughter, Judy Shannon. Surviving relatives include three sons; Rod Spelts and wife, Dianne Spelts, Rance Spelts and partner Donna Harmon, and Jim Spelts and wife, Darlene Spelts; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Cheryl Edwards, and husband Grant Edwards.
