Theresa Sellers Nolan, 75, of Blakely, Ga. passed away Friday, April 26, 2024, surrounded by her family and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 29, 2024 at 2:00p.m. in the Chapel of Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home. Rev. Chris Guffey will be officiating with a reading by Mrs. Ann Boyd. Visitation will be held in the Chapel from 1:00p.m. until 2:00p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at White Plains Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brandon White, Bryan White, Owen McFay, Josh Peacock, Greg McFay, and Dalton Holley. Mrs. Nolan was born December 2, 1948 in Savannah, Ga. to the late William Doris Sellers and Geraldine Quinn Sellers. She was a medical transcriptionist with Early Medical Center for many years and was of the Methodist faith. Aside from her parents, Mrs. Nolan was predeceased by siblings, Hugh Sellers, Craig Sellers, Valarie Sellers, and an infant sibling. She is survived by her children, Jeff McFay (Kimberly), and Heather White (Harry), both of Blakely, grandchildren, Valerie Peacock (Josh), Bryan White (Kristyn), Brandon White, Bailey McFay Holley (Dalton), and Owen McFay, and a great-grandchild Maisie Peacock. Mrs. Nolan is also survived by her brother, Brian Sellers (Sue) of Blakely, sisters-in-law, Joyce Sellers, of Ft. Gaines, and Ann Boyd, of Colquitt, her caretaker, Karen George, and life companion, Jim Nolan. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
