Terry Eugene Ferguson

July 24, 1935 — March 21, 2017

Terry Eugene Ferguson, Sr., 81, passed away Tuesday evening at Early Memorial Nursing Home.His funeral will be Friday, March 24, 2017, at 4 p.m. at Zion Freewill Baptist Church with Dr. Alex Howell officiating.Family will receive friends in the church sanctuary for visitation from 3:00 p.m. until funeral time.Burial will follow in Sowhatchee Cemetery and pallbearers will be Larry and Walter Ferguson, Dip and Bo Ready, Robert Lane, Perry King and Colby Thomas.

Mr. Ferguson was born July 24, 1935 to the late Hugh Grantley Ferguson and Eddie Mae Williams Ferguson. He attended Zion Freewill Baptist Church and was a retired MSGT from the US Air Force and retired Civil Service employee of Robins Air Force Base.Other than his parents he was preceded in death by two daughters; Debbie Sue Ferguson and Sandra Dee Jenkins, a son; Terry E. Ferguson, Jr., and two brothers; Raymond Ferguson and Thomas Ferguson.

His survivors include his wife; Joyce Wiley Ferguson of Blakely, two daughters; Sherry Lynn Ferguson and Tina Maria Moore both of Warner Robins, GA and a son-in-law, Mick Jenkins also of Warner Robins.He also has a brother, Jimmy Ferguson and his wife Dorothy of Headland, AL, three grandchildren; Jennifer Lynn Ferguson, Melinda Sue Moore and William Thomas Moore all of Warner Robins, and six great-grandchildren.
