Sybil Lavada Kirkland Busby Parlor, 68, passed away July 28, 2016 at Miller County Hospital, Colquitt, GA.Funeral Service will be held at Sowhatchee Baptist Church, Blakely, GA,Monday, August 1, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Hubert Smith officiating.Burial will be follow at Oak View Cemetery in Donalsonville, Ga.

Serving as pallbearers will be Greg Murray, Buddy Drawdy, Tommy Willis, Rex Henderson, David Harper and Larry Evans.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 31, 2016, 4 -6 p.m. at Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home, Blakely, GA.

Sybil was born May 4, 1948 in Donalsonville, GA to the late Leamon Brant(BL) Kirkland and Vera Pauline Jones Kirkland.She was a member of Sowhatchee Baptist Church and retired from Birdsong Peanut Company. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by a son Randall Carl Temples and a brother, Lavin Dewayne Kirkland.

She is survived by a Granddaughter, Brittany and Josh Shellhouse of Colquitt, GA., a Grandson, Anthony (wife Mary Jo) McMullen of Blakely, and two Great Grandchildren, Landen Shellhouse and Bruner McMullen.She is also survived by two sisters, Joyce and (husband Greg) of Bainbridge, and Cathy and (husband Buddy) Drawdy of Baxley, GA. Two brothers, Donny and (wife Ann) Kirland of Cataula, GA. and Stan and( wife Sandra) Kirkland of Sylvester,
