Susie Toole Peterson, 90, passed away at LifeBrite Community Hospital on Thursday, January 31, 2019.There will be a graveside service on Saturday, February 2, 2019, 10 a.m. at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Ft. Gaines, GA with Dr. Gary Hadden officiating.Visitation will be Friday, February 1, 2019, at Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home, Blakely, GA from 6 until 8 p.m.

Mrs. Peterson was born in Miller County, Georgia, on March, 3, 1928, to the late Andrew I.(Tosh)Toole and Verna Mae Dean Toole.She was a member of Arlington Baptist Church and was an LPN and EMT for Calhoun Memorial Hospital.Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Andrea Peterson and two brothers; John Henry Toole and Andrew (Andy) Toole and by a sister, Elnita Toole Temples.

Her survivors include one daughter, Patricia(Pat) Peterson Black (Donald) of Dothan, AL, and one son, Mike (Nettie) Peterson of Albany, Georgia.She is also survived by two grandchildren; Sean (Hannah) Black and Cindy (Joe) Blauch; and five great-grandchildren; Aiden, Noah, Gracie Black and Emma and Anna Blauch.
