Stonna Sealy Boyett, 74, of 407 Lakewood Drive, Blakely, GA 39823, passed away late Saturday night, April 21, 2019, in the Emergency Room of Life Brite Community Hospital of Early. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2019, at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Sterling Jones officiating.The family will receive friends for visitation starting at 1 p.m. until 1:50 p.m. in the Social Hall.Burial will follow in the Blakely Cemetery.Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Johnny Dixon Sunday School class.Active pallbearers will be Don Phillips, Chris Peace, Ken Payton, Allen Townsend, Kenneth Hall and Micah Ward.
Ms. Boyett was born on February 1, 1945 in Cuthbert, GA to the late Mack Spencer Sealy, Sr. and Betty Black Sealy.She was a member of First Baptist Church of Blakely and was an accounting clerk for the Early Miller Training Center, formerly was a secretary at Kolomoki State Park.She had received an Associate's degree from Andrew College, Cuthbert, GA.Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Rodney Boyett and a sister Nancy Sealy Ballew.
Her survivors include a daughter, Sealy Boyett Harper of Johns Creek, Georgia, a son, Brad Boyett of Blakely, GA, two sisters; Betty Ann Sealy Wilkerson and Jimmy of Albany, GA, Vicki Sealy Barron and Tommy of Quitman, GA and a brother, Mack Spencer Sealy, Jr and Babs of Groveland, FL.She also has one granddaughter, Megan Rebecca Harper of Evans, GA.
