Sandra Willis Brownlee, a cherished resident of Colquitt, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 10th, 2024, at the age of 84. Born on Thursday, August 8th, 1940, in Blakely, Georgia, Sandra lived a life full of love, dedication, and faith. Sandra was a devoted homemaker, whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she met. She was an avid baker, making “Baby Cakes” for her grands and Christmas cookies for friends and family. Sandra was a dedicated member of the Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church in Colquitt, Georgia. Her commitment to her family and community was evident in all she did. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Ronald Jerome Brownlee, who stood by her side through life's many seasons. Sandra's legacy continues through her daughter, Denise Henley, and son-in-law, Marty. She was a proud grandmother to Courtney Roberts (Jason), Matthew Henley, and Grace Henley, and a doting great-grandmother to Harrison Roberts. Sandra is also survived by her sisters, Linda Smith and Norma Gomez (Henry), who shared in her life's journey. Her beloved caretakers, Dawn Willis Foss and Linda K. Warren, provided her with comfort and companionship in her later years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Linton S. Willis and Ruby Willis, her son, Ron Brownlee, and her brothers, Linton Willis (Brenda) and Jimmy Willis (Jane). A visitation will be held at Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church in Colquitt, GA, on Sunday, October 13th, 2024, at 2:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 pm. The service will be officiated by Bro. Tony Mock and Rev. Josh Rathel, celebrating Sandra's life and the impact she had on those around her. Interment will follow at Harmony Cemetery. Sandra Willis Brownlee will be remembered for her unwavering faith, and the love she shared with her family and friends.
