Samuel Wesley Eaton

Samuel Wesley Eaton, 69, passed away on April 7, 2022. He was born on September 25, 1952 to Charlie Louis Eaton, Sr. and Alma Olevia McGee Eaton. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. EST at the Arlington Baptist Church, Highland Avenue, with Rev. Larry Sowell officiating. Interment will be held at another date. Sam had a big heart. He loved the simple things in life and was always involved with family and friends. He adored good southern cooking and loved all things food. Sam’s laugh was a bellowing one and humor was his constant companion. Most people in the community knew and referred to him as Big Sam. He was a big and tall man who was as friendly as they came. Sam served in both Calhoun and Early counties as an officer of the law for over 30 years. He was a fantastic son, brother, uncle, and friend. His memory will be cherished by many. Sam is preceded in death by his parents and brother Charlie Louis Eaton, Jr. He is survived by his brother David Eaton and wife Linda Eaton. Niece Kimberly McFay and husband Chad McFay, two great nieces Kaylynn Hunter and Raelyn McFay. nephew Adam Eaton and wife Samantha Eaton, two great nephews Jason Bouchard and Abel Eaton. Niece Vanessa Tindell and husband Jay Tindell, great niece Amory Tindell. niece Jeanie Cherry and husband Jason Cherry.
