Rosalyn Rimes Moberly

Rosalyn Moberly, 84, of Dothan, AL, died Monday, June 20, 2022 at Flowers Hospital after a short illness. Ms. Moberly was born in Blakely, GA, November 7, 1937, to the late Millard Rimes and Nettie White Rimes. She retired from the department store, J. C. Penney’s, after several years as a Retail Associate. She was preceded in death by her brothers, William Donald Rimes and Leon Ramsey Rimes, and a sister, Barbara Rimes Wasdin. Survivors include nieces, Gayle Anderson (Charles), Leslie Everett (Mark), and nephews, Van (Bonnie), Dan Wasdin, Tena Sloan (Pastor Mike Sloan), and Ray Rimes. Local cousins are Guyla Daley, Leilann Odom (John), Karen Everson (Jimmy), Cliff Starr (Angela), and Scott Starr (Sharon). Pallbearers are Dan Wasdin, Charlie Anderson, Daniel Anderson, Jeff Anderson, Jimmy Everson, Cliff Starr, and Scott Starr. The Service is at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Blakely City Cemetery. Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
