Ronnie Gendle Payne

Ronnie Gendle Payne, 81, of Fort Gaines, GA., passed away Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Southeast Health in Dothan, AL. A Graveside Service will be held Monday, January 20, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at New Park Cemetery in Fort Gaines. Rev. Jeff Hines will officiate. Ronnie was married to the late Frances Shockley Payne. He was a commercial fisherman by trade. He enjoyed sitting outside under the tree in his chair by the fire. Ronnie is survived by his children, Julie Pittman, Gloria Kinser, Jimbo Storey (Sheila), and Sylvia Curran. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Robert Storey and Gail Gillis. Manry-Hodges-Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
