Robert "Nathan" Evans, 65, passed away at Early Memorial Nursing Home in Blakely, GA on Saturday, January 1, 2022.His funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 2 p.m. atthe chapel of Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home with Rev. Matthew Schluckebier officiating.The family will be receiving friends and family at the home of his daughter and son in law at 28 Hobbs St, Blakely, GA.

Nathan was born January 19, 1956 in Early County, GA to the late Feryl and Emma Lou Evans.He graduated from Early County High School in 1974 and began his career of meat processing where he worked at various supermarkets in the area.

During the time his children were young, he spent hours with them and their friends, coaching ball, taking them fishing, hunting, and multiple family vacations.He loved all their friends as his own and was happiest when they were all at his house.

In addition to his parents, Nathan was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Evans.He is survived by a daughter, Natasha McFay(Michael) and a son, Neil Evans(Starla); 3 grandchildren, Randy and Braxton Hudson, and Denver Evans.
