Perry Dewayne Griffin Sr.

Perry DeWayne Griffin Sr. (PD) of Donalsonville passed away in Blakely On Monday March 7, 2022 surrounded by family. His viewing will be Tuesday March 8, 2022 from 5 to 7 at Manry, Jordan, and Hodges Funeral Home with the funeral being Wednesday March 9, 2022 at 2 PM with Rev. James R Bradley and Rev. Joshua Richards officiating. Burial will follow at the Blakely Cemetery. Scott Easom, Phillip Poole, Caleb Causey, Josh Lewis, Michael Booth, Benji Wise, Jay Williams and Larry Baker Jr. serving as pallbearers. Perry was born on November 29, 1947 to the late Jewelean Hartzog Griffin and the late Perry Zell Griffin. Other then his parents, he was proceeded in death by his 2 late wives, Barbara Craft Griffin and Linda Ruth Griffin, a brother Mike Griffin and his son Perry Griffin Jr. He is survived by his children Priscilla Baker (Larry), Yvonne Garrett (Kem), Linda Sue Coleman (Brian), Michelle Griffin, Nichole Santora (Kendrick) and one surviving brother. Mr. Griffin also had numerous grandkids and great-grandkids. He is also survived by a special cousin Linda Warr and a special friend Nina Causey and her children Madyson Lewis (Josh) and Caleb Causey. Perry (PD) retired from the Paper Mill where he spent many years working. He was a member of Lake Seminole Baptist Church. He loved the outdoors and spent many days on the lake fishing and in the woods hunting. He was a loving father, husband, friend and Paw Paw. He loved his family and spending time with them.
