Paul Kirksey Horne

July 31, 1960 — June 1, 2020

Paul Kirksey Horne, the loving father of three children and papai of seven grandchildren, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 01, 2020, in Harpersville, AL., at the age of 59.Following his wishes to be cremated, the family will be having a memorial service at 6:00 pm on Sunday, June 07, 2020, at New Bethel Baptist Church, 5547 W. Lee St, Dawson, GA.Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, prior to the service.

Kirk was born on July 31, 1960 in Dawson to the late William Franklin Horne and Audrey Nell Bennett.He loved hunting and fishing.At the time of his death, he was living in Harpersville with his son Dylan where he worked as a welder at Shelby Sod/Spriggers Choice.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hoke and Clyde Bennett; his aunt, Sue and Junior Davis; two uncles, Harold and Exa Bennett, and Huel and Dorothy Bennett; and his cousin Rob Bennett.

He is survived by his two daughters, Ashley and Rocky Stroud, and Jaimie and Joshua Harrell; his only son, Dylan Horne; seven grandchildren, Logan, Izzy, Brooklyn, Caitlyn, Damion, Rocky IV, and Emalyn; the mother of his children, Dorathy Horne; three nieces, Vickie Pell, Kimberly Aycock, and Courtney Daniels; five great-nephews, Jayden, Jacob, Jase, Weston, and Massey; and cousins, Donna Rooks, Jim Davis, Leila Jones, Angie Brown, Greg Bennett, Kathy McGhin, Jeffrey Bennett, Edna Bennett, and Linda Dean.
