Noah Cannon Barrows

February 16, 2005 — June 19, 2023

A celebration of life for Noah Cannon Barrows, 18, will be held on July 1, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Methodist Church, 397 College St, Blakely, GA 39823. Noah was a 2023 graduate of Early County High School. He made three different trips to Teller, Alaska, doing mission work with his grandparents. Noah started going to YMCA Camp Chandler when he was eight and eventually started working there when he was old enough. He was a cabin counselor, a life guard, and most recently the kitchen director. Camp Chandler played an integral role in shaping Noah into the man he was becoming. In his memory, in conjunction with the YMCA, we have created the Noah Barrows Campership Fund. This “campership” will send a kid to camp each year who would otherwise miss out on that experience. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the “Noah Barrows YMCA Campership Fund” at http://www.myym.ca/give-noah Noah Cannon Barrows was preceded in death by his grandfather, Clifford Hullender. He is survived by his father Jay Barrows, mother Cindy Barrows, brother Holman Barrows, sister Tatum Barrows, great-grandmother Anne Holman, grandfather Terry Barrows, grandmother Sammie Holman, grandfather Mack Herrington, grandmother Bebe Herrington, aunts Bj McLemore, Rosalyn Wilson (Brandon), Stephanie Morris (Matt), Katie Davis (Daniel) and many cousins. While Noah was in the hospital, the Legacy of Hope organization informed his family that just last month he had registered himself as an organ donor. His family respected his wishes and now asks you to pray for the health of all those who lives will be saved by Noah's gift.
