Nathaniel Dock Gordon

Dee was born on August 29, 1970, in Donalsonville, Ga, to Nathan Gordon and Neda Shelley Gordon. He graduated from Early County High School, received an Electrical Engineering Degree from Auburn University and a Master's Degree in Homeland Security from the Naval War College in Newport, RI. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Norfolk, VA. For the past 28 years, Dee has been in the U. S. Navy, having achieved the rank of Lt. Commander. He was a U. S. Naval Aviator and for many years he has been stationed at the Norfolk VA Naval Base. He served several tours of duty overseas during the Desert Storm operation in Iraq and Kuwait, as a helicopter pilot.
His survivors include his wife, Stefanie Paige Gordon and his 2 beautiful daughters: Macy and Bethany Gordon, all of Chesapeake, VA; his parents: Nathan and Linda Gordon of Blakely, GA and Rebekah Solomon (name changed) of Newport, Arkansas. His 2 sisters are Dee Dee Widener and her husband Jeff and Debbie Taylor and her husband Jimmy, all of Blakely, Ga. His in-laws are Karen and Frank D'Angelo of Perry, GA and Steve and Lea Jean Manry of Blakely.His brother-in-law is Bo Manry and his wife Heather of Peachtree City, GA and his sister-in-law is Hannah Manry of Decatur, GA. He also is survived by Aunts, Uncles, and many Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
