Myrle Evelyn "Eve" Malsch

Myrle Evelyn Malsch (Eve), age 91, of Arlington, GA, left this earth to be with her Lord and Savior on February 5, 2023. Eve was born on February 26, 1931 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Myrle Ada and Walter James Reid. She had 3 siblings that preceded her in death. Walter Reid, Gary Reid, and Virginia Reid Ricketts. Eve married Gerald Duane Malsch on May 19, 1956. They have been married 66 years. Together they had seven children. Her life was filled with making a loving home for her family. She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her children and grandchildren brought her great joy. Eve was a devoted Christian. She enjoyed going to church and having a relationship with God. Her strong faith helped guide her through life. She is now at peace and with her Heavenly Savior. Eve was preceded in death by her daughters, Patricia Kay Swanson and Geri Lynn McChristian, and by her son, David Duane Malsch. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Duane Malsch and her daughters, Glynda Leary of Cleveland, Ohio, Bobbie Poor (Tim) of Joplin, Missouri, Michelle Mainor (Glenn) of Arlington, Georgia and Sharon Mazurek of Atwood, Tennessee. She has 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. There will be a small graveside service at Salem Church Cemetery in Edison, GA on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 10:00 am.
