Michael Edward Jenkins, 63, passed away Thursday afternoon, July 25, 2019 at one of his daughters' home following an extended illness. His funeral will be held Monday morning, July 29, 2019, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home with Vic Stuart officiating.Burial will follow in the Enterprise Freewill Baptist Cemetery, Highway 39 North, Blakely, GAwith R. J. Durham, Hadden Scott, Trent Pickle, Jarrod Hudson, Chris Allums, Michael McMullen serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends for visitation at Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home Sunday evening, July 28, 2019, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Michael was born September 19, 1955 in Blakely, GA to the late Thomas Aubrey Jenkins and Geraldine Clements Jenkins.He had retired from Georgia Pacific about a month ago as an A-Operator of the Power House.He was a member of the Colomokee Baptist Church and a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

His survivors include his wife, Tracy Michelle Jenkins of Blakely, GA, five daughters; Vivian McCalla and Josh of Anchorage, AK, Dannielle Williams and Devante, Jessica Jenkins, Harley Roberts and Adam, and Madison Jenkins all of Blakely, GA, two sons; Jesse Jenkins of Warner Robins, GA, and Ryan Dotson of Ozark, AL.He has three sisters; Peggy Evans and Johnny of Bonaire, GA, Margaret Pedigo and Mark of Spanish Fort, AL, Janet Hudson and Erich of Bonaire, GA and three brothers; Willie Jenkins and Libby of Dothan, AL, Tommy Jenkins, Jr. and Debbie of Bonaire, GA and Bobby Jenkins and Sherri of Douglas, GA.There are also 18 grandchildren.
