Mavis Alberta Shiver, 85, of the Rainbow Cottage, Chipley, Fl., passed away Wednesday morning, April 17, 2019 Her funeral will be held Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 2 PM EDT in the Chapel of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home, 21802 Lucile Rd., Blakely, GA 39823, with Rev. Cory Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.Pallbearers will be Brad and Philip Zychowski, Shiver Giebel, Ronnie Shiver, Ted Warren and Roger Warren. The family will receive friends for visitation starting at 1 PM up until the funeral time at 2 PM.

Miss Shiver was born on November 19, 1933 in Early County Georgia to the late Roy Shiver and Florence Warren Shiver. Shortly after birth Miss Shiver moved to Parker, FL and that is where she was raised. She was of the Baptist Faith and a homemaker.

Her survivors include 2 sisters: Myra Zychowski of Marietta, GA and Meggie Watson of Parker, FL and nieces, nephews and cousins.
