Mary Jane Warrick

Mary Jane Warrick, 77, passed away at Southeast Health October 21, 2022 after a lengthy illness. A graveside service will be held at Blakely Cemetery on Monday, October 24, 2022 at 11 a.m. with Dr. Alex Howell officiating. Mary Jane was born January 21, 1945 in Blakely, GA to the late Sam Owen, Sr and Mary Ellen Lisenby Owen. She graduated from Blakely Union High school 1963 and attended Troy University where she earned her degree in Elementary education. Mary Jane taught school at SGA and Early County for 43 years. She was a bus driver and played piano for the mens' Sunday school class at Blakely First Methodist. She loved her little dogs. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Sam Owen, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Al Warrick, two daughters, Eve (Bubba) Wall, Patricia Warrick of Atlanta, two grandchildren; Ben Wall and Anna Wall. She is also survived by a sister, Beth Moseley.
