Mary Hazel Sims

Mary Hazel Sims, 80, of Edison died Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Miller County Nursing Home. Her celebration of life service will be held Friday November 4th at 11:00 est. at Enterprise Baptist Church in Edison GA. Brother Michael Douglas will officiate her service. (Casual Attire) Hazel was born in Blakely Ga to Lewis and Effie Ree Harrell and was the oldest of 7 children. She had 4 children and 8 grandchildren. She was married to Kelly for over 50 years. She was always a hard worker and she never met a stranger. She was very loving and would always give you anything she could. She loved the Lord and was an active member of Enterprise Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband Harold Kelly Sims; children Woodrow Clint (Brandy) Sims, Necole (Danny) Everson, Kelly (Beth) Smith and Pam White; grandchildren Kyser and Kingston Sims, Perry and Emily Everson, Corey and Cydney Smith, Kyle and Kaylee Hammock; brothers Jerry and Gene Harrell; sisters Dianne Dempsey and Stella Beard. The family would like to take the opportunity to thank the medical staff at Gentiva Hospice (Especially Megan), Miller County Hospital and Miller County Nursing Home. They went out of their way to assist them during this difficult time.
