Mary Ellen Royer

Mrs. Mary Ellen Swilley Royer, 84, passed away early Friday morning, January 6, 2017 in the Early Memorial Nursing Home. Mrs. Royer's wishes were to be cremated and her children are honoring her request. No services are planned at this time.

Mrs. Royer was born on Feb. 15, 1932 in McIntosh, Florida to the late Joseph Reason Swilley and Cleta Mary Ford Swilley. She was an assistant librarian for the Miami-Dade Board of Education.

Her survivors include a daughter: Candy Charisse Royer-Houston and husband Robert of Blakely, GA and a son: Charles Duke Royer and wife Kelley of Brunswick, Ga. There are 4 grandchildren: Alexa, Braydon, Karagan and Aniston Royer, all of Brunswick, Ga.
