Mary Nell Tyler Day, 74, of 497 Allen Chapel Road, Blakely, GA 39823, passed away at her residence on Thursday, November 22, 2018. Her funeral will be Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home with Rev. Sterling Jones officiating.Burial will follow in the Blakely Cemetery with Michael Allred, Brad Hughes, William Davis, Clink Alexander, Tim Doss and Danny Rutledge serving as pallbearers.The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, November 26, 2018 at Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m.

Mrs. Day was born on June 13, 1944 to Theodore Everette and Mary ElizabethHayes Tyler.She was a retired school bus driver for the Early County School System and was preceded in death by two sisters; Gladys Adkins and Louise Miller; two brothers, James "Hoppy" Tyler and Danny T. Tyler.

Her survivors include her husband, Billy Ray Day of Blakely, one daughter, Carol (Tony) Holt of Blakely, GA; one son, Ricky (Bess) Day of Jakin, GA.She is also survived by four sisters; Elaine Day, Eufaula, AL, Cindy Etheridge, Gordon, AL, Margie Richards, Augusta, GA and Jeannette Chambless of Crawford, AL; one brother, Jimmy Tyler, Trion, GA. There are also 4 grandchildren; T. G. Floyd and Keith Floyd, both of Blakely, GA; two granddaughters, Whitney Drake of Colquitt, GA and Anna Cauley of Alford, FL.There are also six great-grandchildren; Tylek Marshall, Trent and Bailey Drake, Zoee and Rubee Floyd and Letty Cauley.
