Mary Anderson Bruner November 10, 1933- July 4, 2022 Mary Anderson Bruner peacefully passed away July 4,2022 at the age of eighty-eight. Born in Alma, Georgia to the late Wailey S. Anderson and the late Irene Elizabeth Medders Anderson. She was raised in Waycross, Georgia. She met the love of her life and husband, Gerald Bruner while both were serving in the United States Air Force. She is survived by, her husband Gerald Bruner, her daughter Terrie Hutchins (Ron) all of Blakely. As well as her grandchildren, Ansley Panizzi (Sean) of Valdosta, Georgia, Adam Hutchins (Ashley) of Albany, Georgia, Allison Hutchins (fiancée, Jordan Bacon) of Valdosta, Georgia, Joey Durham, Hannah Medlin (Cole), and Hunter Durham (Kendall) all of Bluffton, Georgia; Eleven great grandchildren; a brother, Wayne Anderson (Mary Ann) and a brother-in-law, John Beach, of Waycross, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Durham; a sister, Jan Beach and two brothers, Pirkle Anderson and Wallace Anderson. Mary was a member of the Ladies Fellowship Sunday School Class of the First Baptist Church of Blakely, Georgia. She loved the Lord and her family unconditionally. She had many hobbies, including painting, quilting, crocheting, and crossword puzzles. Mary loved to cook and attend to her house plants. The family would like to express a heartfelt and special thank you to Abigail Levette for her continued devotion. Pallbearers are Clink Alexander, David Allen, Tony Hawkins, Adam Hutchins, Ron Hutchins, and Sean Panizzi. A private graveside service will be held Friday, July 8,2022 at 10:00. A celebration of life will be held at the First Baptist Church of Blakely at 11:00, with visitation following the service. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church of Blakely, Georgia.
