Mr. Mark Miliner, 94, of Edison, GA passed away February 11, 2018.Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 11 AM at the Chapel of Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home, Blakely, GA. with Rev. Jackie Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Bluffton City Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Roy Fellows, J. T. Fellows, Colby Fellows, Bubba Simpson, Joe Elliott and Michael Shaw.Honorary pallbearers will be Bo King, Jimmy Money, Henry Harrell, Raddie Miliner, Walt Miliner, Greg Miliner, Carroll Varnum, Terry Langston, David Taylor, Ted McLendon, Stevie McLendon, Ernest Timpson, Daniel Beasley, Elvin Beasley, Byron Bell, Bill Stone, Chris Roney. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home.
Mr. Miliner was born in Clay County, GA on March 6, 1923 to the late Samuel Parker Miliner, Sr. and Callie Louise Bowman Miliner. He was a retired farmer who loved hunting and fishing.He was also the former President of the SWGA Fox Hunters Association.He attended field trials in Alabama, Florida and Georgia.He was a member of the Bluffton United Methodist Church, where he served as chairman of the administrative board until its closing.Other than his parents he was preceded in death by an infant son Mickey Miliner, brothers and sisters; WC Miliner, Elizabeth Dorman, Warren Miliner, S.P. Miliner, Grady Miliner, Woodrow Miliner and Maureen Blakeman; one grandson, Trey Perryman.
His survivors include his loving wife of 70 years, Juanita Koon Miliner; 3 daughters, Louise Cobb and Danny of Morgan, GA, Peggy Simpson and Jimmy of Edison, GA and Delle Perryman and William of Morgan GA.In addition there are 9 grandchildren , 19 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
