Mark Standifer Brownlee, Jr., 78, passed away today, May 13, 2016 at his residence. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at 3 PM at the Westview United Methodist Church. Rev. Jackie Davis and Rev. Jonathan Fuller officiating. Burial will follow in the Blakely Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Sunday from 1:30 until funeral time.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Deuce Odom, Heath Mansfield, Earl Dukes, Joel Slappy, Don Wilkerson and Ken Phillips.

Mr. Brownlee was born in Early County October 14, 1937 to the late Mark Standifer Brownlee, Sr. and Stella White Brownlee. He was a retired farmer, a member of Westview United Methodist Church and he served in the U. S. Army.

Mr. Brownlee is survived by his wife Judy Phillips Brownlee of Blakely and 2 sons: Mark and Leah Brownlee and Richard and Blaire Brownlee, both of Blakely. A brother; Barney and Patricia Brownlee of Blakely and by 3 sisters; Annette Cato of Palmetto, FL., Frances and Charlie Harper of Warner Robins, Ga. and Mary and Ted Getten of Santa Ana, CA. ; 2 grandchildren; Collin and Aubrie Brownlee.
