Marion Patrick Mock, Sr.,71, passed away at the Phoebe North Hospital, Albany, GA on Sunday, October 3, 2021 after a short illness.Hisfuneral will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, October 6, 2021, at Manry-Jordan-Hodges from 6 -8 p.m.
Pat was born November 27, 1949 to Marion C. Mock and La'nez King Mock.He was a graduate of Blakely Union High School, a veteran from the Vietnam War and Captain of the Blakely Fire Department for 25 years. He spent his time working on many different things and loved to garden. He was a good teacher to his kids and friends and was there for people no matter what.He was loved by the Blakely Community.One of his favorite hobbies was talking on CB and Ham radio's and was well known by Purple Bird radio CB handle.Other than his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson, Daniel Mock.
His survivors include three sons; Trey (Tiffany) Mock, David (Lexi) Mock, Charles (Regenia) Mock, grandchildren; Trent, Makayla, Payton, Addison, Kayla, Patrick, John, Gracelynn, Casper, Olivia, Brayden, Andrea, Rebecca and Chris, two great grandchildren; Olivia and Bella.Also, survived by 5 brothers; Mitch, Chad, Robin, Kim and Kirk, and one sister, MiMi and his faithful companion JoAnn Allen.
