Margaret Elena Avery Watson

Mrs. Margaret Elena Avery Watson, 85, of Blakely, Ga passed away at Early Memorial Nursing home Wednesday May 10, 2023. A graveside service will be held Saturday May 13, 2023 at 10 A.M. at Roberts Cemetery on Highway 27 S. in Miller County, GA with Rev. Sterling Jones officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday Evening May 12, 2023 at Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. Mrs. Watson was born April 8,1938 in Blakely, Ga to the Late Addis Lee Avery and Lena Cowarts Avery. She was a homemaker for most of her life taking care of the Five children that she shared with her Husband. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, her parents, all of her siblings, and 2 Grandchildren. Her Survivors include their 5 children: A daughter: Debra Sills of Blakely, GA, 4 sons: Kenneth Watson of Picayune, MS, Charles Watson of Ashford,Al, Carl Watson of Blakely, GA and Kevin(Chrissy) Watson of Blakely, ga. 19 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.
