Marcus Keith Askew, 59, passed away August 25, 2016 at his residence.
Marcus was born August 2, 1957 in San Diego CA to the late Carl Askew and Maurine Gonsalves Askew.He was a member of Holy Family Catholic. He was owner of Askew Trucking Company.
Other than his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Ann Medlin and 2 infant sisters.
He is survived by his wife Margie Gail Wilson Askew, three daughters; Amanda Driver and husband DJ Paul of Blakely, Brandi Boyd and husband William of Atlanta, Amber Moore,a brother, Adam Askew of Blakely, and Mother-in-law, Sara Wright, and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on August 28, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home.
Funeral will be held on August 29, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, Blakely, Ga. with Father John Brown officiating. Pallbearers will be Buddy Jenkins, Teddy Tedder, Duane Noah, Michael Jenkins, Chris Williams and Jeff Daniels.Burial will follow at the Enterprise Cemetery, Blakely.
