Lester Harden Taliaferro, Jr., 77, of 4728 Nickelsville Road, Arlington, GA 39813, passed away at his home, Monday morning, August 6, 2018.His Memorial service will be held Thursday, August 9, 2019, at 1 p.m. in the Arlington Baptist Church, Arlington, GA with Rev. Ryan Mason officiating.A private burial will be held earlier on August 9, 2018 prior to the Memorial service.

Lester was born in Early County on July 31, 1941 to the late Lester Harden Taliaferro, Sr. and Lola Lee Taliaferro.He was a member of the Arlington Baptist Church and worked for the State of Georgia Department of Transportation. Other that his parents he was preceded in death by 7 brothers; Neal, Coy, Ray, Charley, Bobby, Ferrell and Hugh Taliaferro.

His survivors include his wife; Patricia Cooper Taliaferro and a brother Jack Taliaferro of Tallahassee, FL and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Kindred Hospice of Bainbridge or Arlington Baptist Church.
