Lemuel Edward "Lem" Williams passed away at his home Wednesday night, December 20, 2017. The family will hold a Memorial Service Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 3 PM in the Chapel of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home with Dr. Alex Howell officiating. The family will receive friends for a visitation staring at 2 PM until funeral time at 3.

Lem was born on November 19, 1958 in Blakely, GA to the late Henry Forrest Williams and Edna Earl Lane Williams. He was a Maintenance Superintendent for Early County. He was a graduate of Early County High School.

His survivors include a daughter Charo Williams-Clark, three sisters; Leone Warfield, Blakely, GA, Sybol Stagg and Ronnie, Cuthbert, GA, Carol Williams, Yulee, FL, one brother, Henry Williams, Blakely, GA and his companion, Deanne Bostwick Porter, Blakely, GA.He has six grandchildren; Cherri, Jalen, Emma, Chessa, Emmanuel and Clara.
