Lanelle Irene Cherry Glass, 83, of 79 North Lindburg Rd., Ashford, AL , passed away Thursday morning, Oct. 24, 2019 at her residence. Her funeral will be held Monday, Oct. 28, 2019 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home with Rev. Sterling Jones officiating. The burial to follow in the Bethel Cemetery (Early County). The family will receive friends for a visitation starting at 1 PM up until the funeral time at 2.

Lanelle was born on August 18, 1936 in Early County to the late Woodrow Cherry and Margaret Garrett McGlamory. She was a member of the Liberty Assembly of God Church and a homemaker. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Otis Glass, a son: William Gene Love and a sister, Mary Jane Riley.

Her survivors include three daughters: Betty White and Willie Roe, all of Blakely, Ga and Margie Sowell and Donnie of Donalsonville, Ga, Janet Howard and Jerry of Blakely, GA, son: Donald Eugene Glass and Shirley of Jakin, Ga. She also has three half-brothers: Earl McGlamory, Eddie McGlamory and William Eugene McGlamory and Betty.. She has a significant other in Dennis Pynes and his daughter Amber Pynes of Ashford, AL, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
