Kenneth "Kenny" Wade Kennedy, 47, of 76 Larry Allen Lane, Blakely, GA 39823, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2019, at the Willson Hospice House in Albany, GA.His funeral will be held Sunday afternoon, September 22, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Yancey Hartman and Rev. John Calhoun officiating.The family will have a visitation Saturday evening, September 21, 2019, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Blakely Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Trip McDonald, Steven Bonner, Gabe Pugh, Will Strickland, Jarrett Heath and Michael Fincher.

Kenny was born on July 20, 1972, in Sylvester, GA to the late Shirley Emmett Kennedy and Wanda McDonald Houston of Blakely, GA.He was a member of the Cedar Springs Freewill Baptist Church, he was retired as the School Resource Officer for the Dougherty County School System.He was a former Deputy Sheriff for the Early County Sheriff's Department.

His survivors include his wife, Charlotte Engram Kennedy of Blakely, his mother Wanda McDonald Houston of Blakely, his children; Cory Kennedy of Warner Robins, GA, Tyler Mossman of Byron, GA, Kenley Kennedy and Ryan Kennedy both of Blakely, GA. His has two brothers; Keith Kennedy and Pam and Mickey Kennedy and Wendy all of Leesburg, GA, he also has 5 grandchildren; Declan Kennedy, Aubree Mossman, Hayes Bonner, Everleigh Kennedy and Baby Bonner.
