Kathryn Elizabeth Mulkey, 88, of 4401 Narrow Lane Road, Montgomery, Al, formerly of Blakely, GA, passed away Friday evening, November 22, 2019 in Montgomery, AL. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, November, 26, 2019 at 2 PM in the Redemption Church, Lucile Rd., Blakely, GA with visitation starting at 1 PM until 2PM. Rev. Gary Walker and Rev. Jerry Murkerson will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Sowhatchee Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jeff Campbell, Robert Mulkey, Jr., Chris Johnson, Trey Thompson, T. J. Campbell and Beau Thompson. Honorary will be her other great grandchildren; Kaelyn Campbell, Skylar Johnson, Caiden Johnson, Jace Johnson, Ty Johnson, Luke Thompson, Reid Thompson, Ray Thompson, Bryson Mulkey, Morgan Mulkey and Logan Smith.
Kathryn was born on April 22, 1931 in Columbus, GA to the late Robert Clide McBride and Ivey Bussey McBride. She was a seamstress for over 30 years at Brew Schneider Textiles and a member of the Blakely Church of God. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Franklin Mulkey and several siblings.

Her survivors include three daughters; Shirley M. Johnson and Jimmy of Leesburg, GA, Brenda M. Johnson of Columbus, GA and Wanda M. Thompson of Prattville, AL and a son, Franklin Mulkey and Linda of Cataula, GA.She has a sister, Linda Nicholson and Nick and a brother, Robert McBride, Jr. all of Columbus, GA.There are four grandchildren; Sherry Campbell and Jeff of Prattville, AL, Robert Mulkey, Jr. and Michele of Hamilton, GA, Chris Johnson and Dawn of Albany, GA and Trey Thompson and Haven of Gadsden, AL and there are thirteen great-grandchildren.
