Judy Pollock Cannon, 71, Blakely, GA, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2019 at the UAB Hospital, Birmingham, AL.Her funeral will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019, at 11 a.m. at New Hope Baptist Church with visitation starting at 10 a.m. in the church sanctuary.Burial will follow in the Roberts Cemetery, Highway 27, Miller County, GA.Rev. Sterling Jones and Rev. Rawleigh Furney will be officiating.Active pallbearers will be Mark Avirett, Josh Walker, Hugh Cannon, Will Bundy, Clay Poague and Mike Widener.

Judy was born in Donalsonville, GA, on November 16, 1947, to the late Edward Pollock and Alberta Tiner Pollock.Judy was a Licensed Professional Counselor in Blakely, GA and retired after 16 years as manager of the Early County Mental Health Department.She had received a Master's Degree in Psychology at Troy State University and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 4 brothers.

Her survivors include her husband, Don Edward Cannon, a daughter, Kimberly C. Avirett and Mark, and a son, Steven Scott Cannon all of Blakely, GA.She has two sisters, Molly Frances Stebbins and Wayne of Ashford, AL and Sandra Faye Huckba and Jerry of Reynoldsville, GA.
