Judith Marie Ames Johnson, 77, of 307 N. Hancock St., Ft. Gaines, GA, passed away at her residence on May 30, 2018. Her funeral will be held Sunday, June 3, 2018 at 3 PM in the Chapel of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home with Bob Ragan officiating. Burial will follow in the Enterprise Cemetery, Edison, GA. The family will receive friends for visitation from 2 PM Sunday until 3 PM. The pallbearers will be John, Jim, Gary Clark, William Davis, Tyler Ragan and Rhett Ragan.Honorary pallbearer will be Paul Murkerson.

Judith was born in Denver, CO on March 10, 1941 to the late Charles Palmer Ames and Loleta Marie Ring Ames. She was a Locksmith and owner of Dale's Lock and Safe ands a member of the Edison Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Johnson.

Her survivors include 2 sisters: Charlene Ames Clark and Charles of Edison, GA and Phyllis Jean Harris and Jack of Houston, TX and a brother, Donald P. Ames of Indianapolis, IN.
