Juanita Chandler Parks, 90, 1569 South Main Street, Blakely, GA, passed away early Friday morning, January 11, 2019, in Cumming, GA.Her funeral will be held Sunday, January 13, 2019, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Manry Jordan Hodges Funeral Home with Rev. Lori Lewis officiating.Burial will follow in the Blakely Cemetery.The family will receive friends for visitation starting at 1 p.m.Her pallbearers will be Chris Wakefield, Stephen Edwards, Mike Pelham, Keith Garrett, Ronnie Willis and James Weaver.

Mrs. Parks was born on October 19, 1928 in Blakely, GA to the late William Chandler and Gertrude Temples Chandler.She was member of the Hilton United Methodist Church and retired as a secretary in the banking business in Atlanta, GA.Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John William Parks; a brother, Home Lester Chandler and three sisters, Mary Magdalene Chandler, Jeffie C. Garrett and Mavis C. Rode.

Her survivors include a sister, Modine Stephens of Blakely, GA and four nieces; Joan Stephens Pelham, Malecia Stephens Hall, Marsha Stephens Funk, Denise Garrett Davis and a nephew, Keith Garrett.
