Josephine Harrell Temples

Mrs. Josephine Harrell Temples, 91, formerly of Blakely, GA passed away Friday, August 9, 2019, at the Lee County Health and Rehab, Leesburg, GA.Her funeral will be held Saturday afternoon, August 10, 2019, at 4 p.m. at the Bethel Baptist Church, Highway 39 North, Blakely, GA with Richard Coates and Dr. Michael Warren officiating.Burial will follow in the Bethel Church Cemetery with Jackie Smith, Jason Kirkland, Earvin Evans, David Shivers, Steve Anderson and LaDon Durham serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Temples was born on December 20, 1927 in Blakely, GA to the late Presley Cumming Harrell and Mattie Jenkins Harrell.Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Temples, a son, Billy Temples and by 12 brothers and sisters.She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church, she was an LPN at Early Memorial Hospital and also worked many years for Dr. Giles and Dr. Justice.

Her survivors include a daughter, Jeannie T. Davis and Tommy of Leesburg, GA, a daughter-in-law, Dialane Temples of Blakely, GA, four grandchildren; Michael Temples and Tiffany, Mary Beth Stevens and Nathan all of Blakely, Ashley Bush and Jason of Savannah, GA, Courtney Sheeley of Valdosta, GA and also six great grandchildren; Hannah Grace Temples, Davis Bush, Ella Bush, Ashlyn Sheeley, Harper Sheeley and Mack Stevens.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that contributions be made to the Bethel Baptist Church, 29 Blakely Highway, Blakely, GA39823.
