Joseph Wayne Tapp, 38, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020, at Southeast Health Medical Center in Dothan.
Joey was born April 26, 1982 in Houston, Texas, the firstborn of Michale Joseph Tapp and Sara Johnson Tapp Malsberger.He was a graduate of Early County High School where he balanced his years there with a part-time job at Sears.While being technology-savvy, Joey also enjoyed raising livestock, especially ducks and chickens, and growing vegetables.His loving and caring nature will never be forgotten by his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Joey is survived by a sister, Natalie Tapp and her daughter, Makenzie Smith, of Ashford, AL.; his nephew, Ryder Tapp of Blakely;his sister-in-law, J. J. Lanigan; two half-sisters, Holly Tapp and her family and Laura Tapp; his maternal grandmother, Lillian Temples Johnson of Blakely; his step-father, Tim Malsberger and numerous extended family members and friends
He was preceded in death by a brother, Justin Houston Tapp.
A graveside service will be held at Blakely Cemetery.
