Mr. Edwards was born December 12, 1939 in Seminole Co., Ga. to the late Early James Edwards and Elizabeth Thompson Edwards. He was a retired industrial painter at Great Southern Paper Co. Served in the Navy and was of Baptist Faith. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Marvagene Creel Edwards; a daughter, Bobbie Jean Edwards; a grandson, Geoff White; a sister and brother, Jean Pye and Bobby Edwards.
He is survived by a daughter Mylinda Edwards White and husband Warren Jr. of Blakely, Ga., a sister, Pat James of Warrensburg, MO. Four Grandchildren; Jennifer Howard (Anthony), Jodi Temples, Jamey Whiddon (Nick) and Matthew Chancey. He is also survived by 10 Great-Grandchildren, and a very special friend, Helen Edwards.
